Senor Cavani de Uruguay

I apologize for  my terrible Spanish.  But I  have great  admiration  for  Cavani ,  and of all  the  athletes I am  depicting in this series, the great Uruguayan striker is the one whose face and physique most resemble a traditional nobleman.  After establishing himself as the leading goalscorer in the Italian Serie A, he moved to Paris Saint Germain,  where he is  part of a fearsome duo  with Ibrahimovic. Unfortunately, few if any teams in France can even dream of that kind of offensive power.  Anywhere else in Europe, their talent  and their entire team would be better tested. I  don’t know if I  agree  with this approach, but considering the supremacy of  Bayern, PSG, Juventus,  2-3 Spanish and Portuguese teams, it may become a reality one day…

Back to  Cavani  and Uruguay. Together with Suarez,  they  could provide a lot of excitement this summer.  After Suarez hand ball  on the goal line against Ghana at the first African World Cup in 2010, I  can’t say I am the biggest fan, but it will be intersting to  watch them play…
